Dr. Owens graduated among the top of his undergraduate class, receiving a degree in Environmental, Population & Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He later went on to graduate with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley where he received his doctorate from the School of Optometry. Currently, Dr. Owens is pursuing a MBA in Healthcare Management at the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University. After receiving advanced certification in the Treatment & Management of Ocular Disease, Dr. Owens began working at a distinguished disease related surgical eye care practice in Denver Colorado. Dr. Owens is the former Director of International Eye Care for the Medical Humanitarian branch of American Airlines, has been recognized as one of the Top Optometrists in America, and is the Owner of Vail Vision, Roaring Fork Vision, and The Rocky Mountain Vision Group.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Owens is working on a development team focused on medical product innovation, as well as starting an access plan for medical services and products that are not traditionally covered by medical insurance companies. For fun Dr. Owens is working on getting his wine sommelier certification, enjoys international travel, mountain biking, and skiing with his friends and family.

Dr. Timothy J. Bauer O.D. specializes in eye diseases, conditions, and overall health. He has serve patients from Aspen, Snowmass, Woody Creek, Basalt, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs for over 20 years. He is committed to improving his patients' quality of life through the betterment of their eye health. He is active in the community, with two daughters attending Basalt High School and Middle School respectively. Additionally, he takes an active role in his their club volleyball program, serving as its Director, overseeing much of the logistics of the organization.
Dr. McMahon brings 40 plus years of surgical experience to the Roaring Fork Vision team. He is a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist from the University of Michigan and at UCSF. His other achievements include:
Emeritus Associate Clinical Professor at Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute, 50,000 plus cases over the course of his career in glaucoma procedures, laser procedures, shunts, MIGS, canaloplasties, corneal transplants, DSEK, LASIK, RK,
cataracts, simple oculo plastic surgery, strabismus surgery, diabetic retinopathy lasers and anti veg F injections, retinal surgery, vitrectomies, and scleral buckles. He has put his experience to good use during his missionary medicine trips to Central America.
